  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 troubleshooting and issue resolution with responsive, white-glove service.
  • Coordinate with the managed services provider (MSP): log, track, escalate, and follow IT tickets through to resolution.
  • Enroll, configure, and manage Windows and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot; maintain compliance and configuration profiles.
  • Support application packaging and deployment for managed devices.
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 admin center and Microsoft Entra ID (users, groups, licensing, password resets, and MFA).
  • Manage Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive; monitor service health and keep configurations and documentation accurate.
  • Administer SharePoint Online: site and library provisioning, permissions, access, taxonomy and metadata, and naming standards.
  • Support ongoing SharePoint work including migration, cleanup, hub site management, and per-project knowledge-source provisioning.

  • Assist with SOC 2 access reviews including evidence collection.
  • Support Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption: assist licensed users, contribute to the Copilot Champions program, and help with prompts, training, and enablement.
  • Own day-to-day technology operations for the Washington, DC office, including two conference rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms / AV for hybrid and leadership meetings.
  • Coordinate with the MSP and vendors on local network and connectivity.
  • Manage device inventory and equipment setup, including onboarding/offboarding logistics and remote provisioning with shipping of devices to distributed staff.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of IT support or systems administration experience with hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365 administration (admin center and Entra ID), Microsoft Intune/endpoint management, and/or SharePoint Online.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, or related field is helpful but not required; equivalent experience and demonstrated capability will be considered.
  • Microsoft certifications (for example MS-900, MD-102, SC-900, Endpoint Administrator Associate) are a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot including device enrollment, compliance and configuration policies, and application deployment for Windows and mobile devices, including remote users.
  • SharePoint Online administration experience: site and library provisioning, permissions management, metadata/taxonomy, and content migration and governance.
  • Working knowledge of information protection and Zero Trust fundamentals including sensitivity labeling, DLP, and device/identity compliance concepts.
  • Endpoint support fundamentals for Windows and macOS, strong general troubleshooting (including remote support), and networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, connectivity, and ISP coordination).
  • Familiarity and enthusiasm for Microsoft 365 Copilot; exposure to Power Platform and Microsoft Teams Rooms / AV is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing/ITSM tools and a habit of clear, thorough documentation.
  • White-glove service orientation with ownership through resolution; ability to translate between non-technical colleagues and a technical MSP/IT team.
  • Strong plus: experience supporting a distributed workforce, supporting a Copilot or security/compliance rollout, or working alongside an MSP.
  • On-site in Washington, DC combining desk-based administration with hands-on support; involves sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting or setting up IT equipment (up to approximately 25 pounds).
