IT Support Specialist
Job Description
AnewHealth is hiring an IT Support Specialist to provide first-level technical assistance and guidance to employees. Reporting to the Director of IT Services, this onsite role supports day-to-day troubleshooting across software, hardware, and mobile devices, with documentation, escalation, and security-focused practices built into the workflow.
Role Overview
- Under the direction of the Director of IT Services, provide first level technical support and resolve software and hardware issues.
- Serve as a front line point of contact for support needs, using troubleshooting methods to diagnose and guide resolution.
- Maintain current security knowledge and keep skills up to date for ongoing support effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Deliver front line technical support via calls, chat, and email, plus remote support when needed.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripherals according to provided specifications.
- Analyze and diagnose issues using technical skills, historical records, knowledgebase resources, and other tools.
- Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring correct installation of required software and peripheral devices.
- Document issue details and troubleshooting steps for escalation, review, and audit purposes.
- Perform issue triage and analysis, including data collection, and escalate to Tier 2 support when required.
- Follow organizational security practices to protect and control company systems and data.
- Evaluate software or hardware options and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems on iOS and Android (phones and tablets).
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of related experience in troubleshooting skills, basic networking, Active Directory, and mobile devices.
- Certifications: A+ and Network+ (preferred).
- Strong aptitude in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016.
- Experience with Salesforce, OnBase, and Cisco Call Manager is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2013 or higher.
- Experience with Microst365 and virtual environments is a plus.

Schedule
- Full-time role with an average expectation of 40 hours per week.
- Availability outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis to meet customer expectations.
- Schedules are set based on organizational needs and may be adjusted.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Administrative position requiring physical abilities including hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking.
- Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within the assigned territory.
- Extended hours may be necessary as needed.
