Job Description
City Theatrical, Inc. is seeking a Theatre Lighting Technical Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Carlstadt, NJ. This full-time role offers a robust benefits package and the opportunity to contribute from initial troubleshooting through product testing and training. The position pays $50,000 to $60,000 per year and requires relocation to Carlstadt before starting.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site troubleshooting for City Theatrical products; travel may be involved
- Diagnose and resolve issues over the phone and via email
- Issue and process RMA documents
- Address customer and employee inquiries
- Conduct internal troubleshooting
- Maintain the company knowledge base of product-related problems and solutions
- Provide feedback to engineering regarding bugs and issues
- Support sales and engineering teams as required
- Perform product testing and other duties as required
- Maintain metrics related to support activities
- Test new products prior to release
- Develop product training programs
Requirements
- Familiar with entertainment lighting; prior experience with Wireless DMX a plus
- Ability to work well with others, including clients, vendors, electricians, and other technical entertainment personnel
- Technical understanding and computer skills; knowledge of SYSPRO and CRM software is a plus
- Familiar with entertainment technology protocols
- Electronic/Electrical background
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
