Experienced IT Support Associate – Help Desk, Networking, Workstations, Projects

IT Radix, LLC supports small and mid-sized business clients with reliable technology services across remote and onsite engagements. This Experienced IT Support Associate role is focused on help desk delivery, troubleshooting across endpoints and infrastructure, and helping clients keep systems running securely and efficiently in Whippany, NJ.

What you’ll do

• Deliver remote and onsite technical support with responsive, friendly, professional communication
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and cloud environments
• Manage and maintain client IT infrastructure
• Assess client technology needs and recommend practical solutions
• Deploy new hardware, software, and technology upgrades
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Diagnose and resolve networking, connectivity, and security issues
• Document work clearly and accurately in the company’s ticketing system

Tools and technologies you may work with

• Microsoft 365 and the Office suite
• Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
• Windows, macOS, including Windows Server and Active Directory
• DNS, Group Policy, Hyper-V, VMware
• Remote Desktop / Terminal Services
• Microsoft Azure
• Cybersecurity technologies such as endpoint security, encryption, and web filtering
• RMM, VPNs, and a ticketing system such as ConnectWise

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 1 year of professional IT support experience or equivalent hands-on business technology experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the Office suite
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS computers
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment
• Familiarity with backup solutions, VPNs, remote management (RMM), and common IT support tools
• Experience working with a professional ticketing platform such as ConnectWise

Bonus skills

• Experience with any of the following is a plus: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Remote Desktop / Terminal Services, Microsoft Azure
• Cybersecurity technologies, including endpoint security, encryption, and web filtering
• Project implementation or project management

Compensation and location

• Location: Whippany, NJ (onsite)
• Salary: USD 50,000 - 70,000 per year
