Responsibilities
- Deliver front-line technical assistance for end users with workstation, login, printing, and network connectivity issues.
- Resolve support requests using remote troubleshooting or by providing onsite help at user locations as needed.
- Manage and update service desk tickets, keeping documentation current, prioritizing effectively, and closing issues in a timely manner.
- Support user account access and handle password-related requests in Active Directory.
- Diagnose desktop and laptop problems in Microsoft Windows 10 environments and apply effective solutions.
- Escalate more complex incidents when required, while maintaining clear communication with users and internal stakeholders.
- Install, configure, and support standard desktop hardware and software used across the organization.
Requirements
- Experience providing help desk or desktop support in an IT environment.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account support and password administration.
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft Windows systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop, printer, login, and internet connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and issue tracking best practices.
- Strong communication skills to support users clearly and effectively.
- Availability to work onsite five days per week in Michigan.
Location: Burton, MI (onsite)
Compensation: USD 33 to 38 per hour
