Job Description

Industrial Equipment Technical Support Specialist role based in Barberton, OH, providing technical support and diagnosis assistance via phone and e-mail from the office, and handling parts orders.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and assist in diagnosing equipment via phone and e-mail from the office.
Receive, review and submit parts orders.

Requirements

Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Willing to provide on call evening and weekend emergency technical support about once per month; additional compensation provided.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems including switches, motors, breakers and relays; ability to read electrical schematics and use an electrical test meter.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, valves and controls.
Experience with PLCs and VFDs.
Electrical test meter proficiency.

Compensation package

Hourly rate of $21.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on prior experience and education.
Overtime pay.
Yearly performance bonus.

Schedule

Day shift
Monday to Friday
On call evenings and weekends as needed; additional compensation provided.
