Job Description

HCTec is expanding its IT support team in Glendale, Arizona, offering a hybrid work arrangement that blends remote and on-site service. The role of IT Support Analyst II involves delivering hands-on technical assistance to clients, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior colleagues as part of a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Receive, triage, and resolve help desk requests promptly.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, including backups and software updates.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across multiple systems and applications.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of IT policies and procedures.
  • Document and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
  • Assist with testing and deployment of new software and hardware.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call IT support rotation.
  • Travel to local client locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of IT support or a related role.
  • Strong technical skills in Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and network technologies.
  • Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, ITIL, MCSA, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus.

Relocation

Relocation to Glendale, AZ 85318 is required before starting work.
