IT Support Analyst II
Job Description
HCTec is expanding its IT support team in Glendale, Arizona, offering a hybrid work arrangement that blends remote and on-site service. The role of IT Support Analyst II involves delivering hands-on technical assistance to clients, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior colleagues as part of a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Receive, triage, and resolve help desk requests promptly.
- Analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, including backups and software updates.
- Manage user accounts and permissions across multiple systems and applications.
- Contribute to the development and rollout of IT policies and procedures.
- Document and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
- Assist with testing and deployment of new software and hardware.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call IT support rotation.
- Travel to local client locations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of IT support or a related role.
- Strong technical skills in Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and network technologies.
- Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, ITIL, MCSA, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus.

Essential Functions
