IT Support Associate II
Job Description
In Amazon OpsTech IT, the IT Support Associate II plays a hands-on role in keeping technology running across Amazon Operations facilities. This position focuses on technical problem resolution across multiple disciplines, with support delivered both onsite and remotely for customers across local buildings.
Based in Houston, TX on an onsite schedule, you will work with a range of hardware and operating environments while responding to support requests, troubleshooting equipment, and helping bring new team members up to speed.
What you’ll do
- Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
- Handle support requests and follow established procedures across the network.
- Assist with training new hires.
- Continue learning new technologies as systems and tools evolve.
- Support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
- Be able to move up to 49 lbs and stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Travel within your local or regional area to support customers.
- Work with schedule flexibility, including shift rotation between days and nights.
Minimum qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers and troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
- 1+ years of Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems support experience, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and benefits
This role offers an hourly salary range of USD 23 - 37 and requires 1 year of minimum experience.
