Job Description

The IT Support Technician role provides essential end-user assistance and systems administration across multiple clinic locations, supporting a mixed on-premises and cloud environment under the guidance of the IT Manager. This on-site position requires quarterly in-person office hours at each site in Green Valley and surrounding areas.

Compensation

USD 49,959 per year

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science
  • 2 years of hands-on IT support experience in a Windows environment
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 services
  • Current Arizona driver's license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely resolution of technical support requests via phone, remote sessions, and on-site assistance across clinic locations
  • Triage, document, and manage support tickets through resolution; maintain accurate interaction records
  • Conduct scheduled quarterly on-site office hours at each clinic location for in-person support and hands-on tasks
  • Execute end-to-end IT onboarding and offboarding for employees
  • Maintain and monitor Windows Server infrastructure including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Administer and support on-premises file shares, including folder structure, NTFS permissions, share access, and capacity monitoring
  • Monitor Meraki network infrastructure across clinic sites, including switches, wireless access points, and security appliances
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues and coordinate with carriers or vendors on escalated network incidents
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 E5 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID, and Defender
  • Administer password management software
  • Manage full device lifecycle including imaging, provisioning, asset tracking, and retirement
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral devices critical to clinical operations such as printers, scanners, and label printers
  • Coordinate with vendors for device and equipment warranty and repair escalations
  • Perform and validate restore operations, document backup procedures, and retention schedules in alignment with HIPAA requirements
  • Support HIPAA-aligned security practices including periodic access reviews, MFA enforcement, and endpoint compliance reporting
  • Maintain current documentation for systems, configurations, standard operating procedures, and runbooks
  • Participate in security incident responses and assist with vulnerability remediation under the IT Manager's direction
  • Coordinate with vendors/MSP on escalated issues and technology projects as directed by the IT Manager
  • Serve as a role model for staff in professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic

Experience

  • Help desk: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Windows: 2 years (Preferred)
