Technical Support Analyst

Build and support secure Windows and Linux development environments in a cleared DoD setting at Redstone Arsenal.

Responsibilities

• Provision, image, and maintain Windows-based development, integration, and test systems
• Support Linux systems (including RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) across development and lab environments
• Manage hardware provisioning and OS imaging for both Windows and Linux platforms
• Support software testing by handling environment setup, configuration, and validation
• Provide IT support for development and lab infrastructure, including troubleshooting and patching
• Support RMF and cybersecurity activities, including STIGs/CIS alignment, evidence collection, and continuous monitoring
• Maintain documentation for systems, imaging processes, and cybersecurity activities
• Coordinate with developers, test engineers, system owners, and ISSO/ISSM personnel to keep environments ready and compliant

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret clearance
• 2+ years of experience in systems security
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• Strong working knowledge of Windows system administration, imaging, and configuration management
• Supplemental Linux administration experience and basic command-line operations
• Practical experience with hardware provisioning and OS imaging processes
• Familiarity with software testing support or test environment management
• Ability to work closely with a development team and prioritize environment stability for engineering execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting software or systems development teams in a lab, integration, or product engineering environment
• Scripting or automation skills for imaging and environment management (PowerShell preferred; Bash or Python a plus)
• CompTIA Security+ or Windows-focused certifications (or equivalent)
• Prior experience in a DoD or cleared development program
