Job Description

Syn-Tech Systems, Inc. invites applications for a Help Desk Specialist to provide frontline technical support for FuelMaster software, hardware, and firmware, including installation, configuration, and customer instruction. The position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone based support to customers across all aspects of FuelMaster software and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and assist users with software and computer hardware questions.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to verify the integrity of FuelMaster configurations.
  • Deliver telephone help desk support for peripheral devices, including transaction printers, receipt printers, tank monitor connections, communication devices, and the FuelMaster system.
  • Follow up on open calls to confirm resolution of customer issues.
  • Document actions taken and troubleshooting steps in the CRM system.
  • Assist both technical and non-technical personnel to resolve customer related issues and process requests effectively.

Requirements

  • AA degree or technical training in an IT related field; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • A consistent and dependable work history, ideally 3 to 5 years at each prior employer.
  • Knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on results.
  • Proven history of positive customer interactions and support.
  • Willingness to be on call and/or work shifts when necessary.
  • Experience in Systems Administration, SQL servers, or network communication is desirable.
