IT Support Technician - Part Time

Part-time, on-site IT Support Technician role at Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, UT.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming IT support tickets from staff across all departments and provide timely resolutions.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues on workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Assist with POS systems and hospitality software used by front-line staff.
• Prepare new employee workstations and configure peripheral devices for onboarding.
• Contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes under guidance from senior IT staff.
• Monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity across multiple resort locations.
• Help troubleshoot IP cameras and NVR under senior direction.
• Assist in maintaining static IP reservations and fundamental network documentation.
• Escalate intricate network or infrastructure problems to senior IT staff.
• Log all tickets and resolutions accurately.
• Adhere to standardized SOPs and How-To guides for recurring issues.
• Assist in creating and maintaining IT documentation as assigned.
• Provide clear updates to end-users regarding ticket status and expected resolution timelines.
• Support software installations, updates, and basic configuration tasks.
• Assist with AV setup and troubleshooting for resort events as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on workstations and related devices.
• Contribute to projects led by senior IT staff.

Requirements

• Foundational troubleshooting skills in Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Experience diagnosing hardware and software issues with printers, phones, and peripherals.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to follow documented SOPs and escalate issues as appropriate.
• At least 1 year of IT experience or related coursework in IT, networking, or a related field.
• On-site role; remote work is not available.
