Regional IT Support Specialist

Kunes Auto Group is hiring a Regional IT Support Specialist to deliver onsite and remote technology support for dealerships in Walworth County. Based in Delavan, WI, this is a field-based role with regional travel and limited out-of-town work for specialized projects.

Location and Work Style

• Worksite: Delavan, WI (onsite)
• Field-based support: Coverage for dealerships within a regional area
• Travel: Regional travel using a company-issued vehicle or mileage reimbursement; occasional overnight travel (a few days a year at most)

Compensation

• Salary: USD 50,000 to 60,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT support for dealership locations within a 10–25 mile regional radius using a company-issued vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, and wired or wireless network connectivity.
• Manage and resolve Help Desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Deploy and maintain IT assets, including workstations and infrastructure hardware.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices, firewalls, antivirus, and security systems.
• Carry out system upgrades and software installations.
• Coordinate with end users, other IT Specialists, and regional IT leadership to complete support and project work.
• Complete occasional out-of-town travel for specialized projects (typically a few times per year).

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.
• Education: Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in an IT-related field.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Broad working knowledge across hardware, networking, security, and software.
• Driver’s license and comfort traveling within the assigned region.
