Job Description

The Chemistry Technical Support and Field Service role delivers on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support for analytical instrumentation. The position requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and regular use of Mandel’s ERP software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site installation and operator training of instruments and systems according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs as assigned.
  • Provide troubleshooting support via phone, email, and video as assigned.
  • Schedule and maintain instruments through supplier recommended preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Complete field service calls and customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Knowledge of various established methods (ASTM, ISO, EPA, UOP, etc.) to help support Mandel’s sales and service groups and customer base.
  • Use Mandel’s laboratory to run samples, repair instruments, and provide sales and customer support.
  • Submit and maintain service-related documentation such as field service reports, maintenance guides, service inventory.
  • Work in a team environment to provide and promote product and service knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.

BS in Chemistry
