HVAC Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
This onsite role provides post-sale support for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, delivering basic troubleshooting, installation assistance, and training from Neenah, WI, with coverage from Madison, WI as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic troubleshooting and installation support for HVAC/R equipment.
- Diagnose issues within refrigeration circuits, components, and controls to guide callers toward the appropriate resolution.
- Prepare and share technical documentation with contractors, engineers, and other personnel.
- Document call information to support any required follow-up actions.
- Lead training classes on basic installation and troubleshooting techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows.
- A strong desire to learn everything related to the assigned products.
- Resourcefulness and a forward-looking mindset.
- 3+ years of experience in the installation and service of HVAC/R equipment.
- Strong written communication and customer service skills.
