IT Support Specialist (Level 2)
Job Description
The IT Support Specialist (Level 2) role provides frontline technical support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues, along with onboarding and device maintenance, on site in Swedesboro, NJ for Wedgewood Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver frontline technical assistance by handling service tickets and in person requests for hardware, software, networking, and peripheral concerns.
- Diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, Active Directory, Office 365, network connectivity, printing, and file sharing.
- Image, deploy, maintain, and repair PCs, laptops, iPads, and other end user devices.
- Support new hire onboarding by creating user accounts, assigning permissions, and configuring equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, copiers, scanners, and other IT peripherals while collaborating with the IT team on more complex issues.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least three years of hands‑on experience supporting desktop and infrastructure services.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PC imaging, and basic IP networking.
- Experience working in an IT ticketing environment and handling multiple service requests in a fast paced setting.
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting Apple devices, including iPads and iPhones, with knowledge of iOS profile management and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting printers and peripheral devices; familiarity with Zebra, Honeywell, and HP laser printers is a plus.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting users in pharmacy, warehouse, manufacturing, or other operational environments is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), A+, or related certifications are advantageous, though practical experience is valued over formal credentials.
- Self-starter with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Flexibility to provide occasional evening or weekend support when business needs require.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Basics
- Location: Swedesboro, NJ
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility to support weekends as needed
- Compensation: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
