Job Description

Synergy Technology offers an on-site IT Helpdesk and Field Support role in a dynamic MSP environment, anchored in Tampa, FL. You will support remote helpdesk and hands-on IT across multiple client environments with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Windows-based infrastructure. This position blends desktop, server, and cloud support to keep client environments running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of support for client end-users via phone, email, or ticketing platforms
  • Efficiently resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Accurately document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using professional ticketing tools
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting, hardware installations, and IT setup for new offices and users
  • Support end-user technology and ensure proper connectivity, printing, and peripheral setup
  • Handle physical deployments and escalations at client sites
  • Manage simultaneous client environments with varied technology stacks
  • Provide remote and onsite support to small and mid-sized business clients with different infrastructure setups
  • Adhere to client-specific SLAs, maintain documentation, and follow established processes for escalation, billing, and service delivery
  • Assist with client onboarding, systems audits, and periodic health checks
  • Administer Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and other Microsoft cloud-based services
  • Maintain and support Office 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Configure and manage on-premise Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, file and print services, and hybrid Exchange deployments
  • Support network components such as switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi for multiple client setups

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in IT support, with 2+ years in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
  • Strong technical background with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Windows-based infrastructures
  • Proven ability to handle multiple clients, environments, and technologies simultaneously
  • Familiar with RMM tools (ConnectWise, Datto, NinjaOne) and PSA systems
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN)
  • Proficient in PowerShell and other scripting tools for automation and remote administration
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-first attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-900, MD-101)
  • CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+)
  • Experience with remote deployment tools and endpoint management (Autopilot, SCCM, Intune)
  • ITIL familiarity or certification
  • This is an in-office position. No full-time remote work available

Compensation

Pay: USD 23.00 - 27.00 per hour

Experience preference: Azure experience preferred (2+ years)

  • Location: Tampa, FL 33634 (On-site, in person)
  • Relocation: Relocate to Tampa, FL 33634 before starting work (Required)
