Job Description
FIT Technologies is seeking a part-time Technical Support Services Technician to deliver hands-on technical assistance and monitor client environments onsite or remotely. This onsite role in Minneapolis, MN requires 24-30 hours per week spread across a three-day schedule, with compensation of USD 25 - 28 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Foster and sustain relationships with clients and other team members
- Perform software and hardware upgrades
- Install, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, network equipment, and PC peripherals
- Track daily service calls and meet SLA targets based on client expectations
- Provide timely and accurate progress updates
- Carry out routine maintenance following company and vendor standards
- Ensure the physical cabling infrastructure meets defined standards
- Support equipment liquidations
Requirements
- Display a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and positive demeanor
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems and document steps using an internal ticketing system
- Ability to relay technical information clearly to clients with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and task follow-through
- Understanding of varying versions of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policy
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP addressing and VLANs
- Familiarity with network-based PC operating system deployment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, MTA, MCSA are desirable
- Ability to adapt in an evolving-priority environment
- Ability to follow processes and protocols
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to ensure physical cabling meets standards
- Willingness to learn software tools such as asset tracking and ticketing systems

Working Conditions
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and valid vehicle insurance
- Local travel and occasional travel to other parts of Minnesota or out of state

- Occasionally, work weeks may exceed 40 hours
