Job Description

Technical Support Analyst based in Garda Capital Partners' New York office, serving as the primary IT contact for New York employees and a hands-on member of the global infrastructure team, supporting end-user issues, security remediation, and MSP coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Provide white-glove IT support for the New York office across Windows, macOS, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, networking, printing, and AV/VC systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve a broad range of technical issues, assist executives and trading floor users, and oversee hardware lifecycle from procurement to deployment and inventory management.
  • Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
  • Serve as the on-site liaison with the Managed Service Provider, triaging tickets, addressing escalations, tracking SLAs, and coordinating issue resolution among users, the MSP, and internal teams.
  • Foster collaboration with support and engineering teams to improve responsiveness and service quality.
  • Support vulnerability remediation activities including patching, configuration hardening, and tracking across endpoints.
  • Assist incident response efforts and uphold security hygiene through MFA, certificate management, and access reviews.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams on endpoint, identity, and network initiatives, including Intune.
  • Support headquarters connectivity, contribute to documentation and runbooks, and work with global teams to enhance systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in IT support or desktop engineering, ideally in financial services or a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting across Windows and macOS, iOS, Microsoft 365, networking, printing, and hardware.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, network architecture, Windows infrastructure, Linux, and security fundamentals.
  • Experience supporting executives or trading floor environments.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to lift and install IT equipment.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune or SCCM.
  • Exposure to security tools including EDR/MDR, SIEM, Netskope, Microsoft Defender, and Arctic Wolf.
