Job Description
General Dynamics Information Technology invites you to join a purpose-driven team as a Help Desk Specialist. The shift runs Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities
- Provide user support and customer service for company supported computer applications and platforms; use ServiceNow to document all incidents and service requests; troubleshoot issues and recommend appropriate actions; drive timely resolution; escalate to Tier 2 or shift lead as needed; track issues through to closure; respond to user inquiries via phone and email.
- Perform essential Service Desk activities to keep systems robust and performing to standard.
Requirements
- Technical background is required
- Experience on IT service desk teams is preferred
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy, SCSM, or ServiceNow is preferred
- Ability to resolve technical and other issues with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical certifications are preferred
- Three years of relevant experience with an Associate degree or equivalent; a degree is preferred but not required
- Technical degree is preferred
- U.S. Citizenship is required and the candidate must be able to obtain a public trust

Salary and Benefits Information
The likely hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.26 to $27.65. This is not a guaranteed range; compensation is determined by experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
