Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning machines in the Customer Care Lab
- Evaluate freight damaged machines, prepare repair estimates, and refurbish units
- Inspect returned spare parts to confirm or refute field diagnoses, determine disposition, and log in Sales Force
- Engage in live call taking, respond to voicemails and emails from the technical support line, and document interactions by serial number in Sales Force
- Record labor performed and parts used in repairs and dispositions in Sales Force
- Review operation and service manuals
- Travel as required; assist with trade show display setup and teardown
- Maintain open dialogue with Carpigiani colleagues to ensure alignment
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree from a 2 year technical refrigeration program or 5 years refrigeration experience
- EPA certified in proper refrigeration practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
