In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Full-Time)
Job Description
Join Asurion in Buena Park, California for an entry-level, full-time in-home sales and tech support role. This onsite position blends daily visits to customer residences with paid training, a base hourly wage plus commissions, mileage reimbursement, and a five-day workweek designed to align with customer availability. You will work through the Serve, Solve, Sell framework to deliver practical solutions and build your skills in communication and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Apply the Serve, Solve, Sell framework to assist customers, meeting them in-home, in offices, or wherever they are; pre-schedule interactions to reach and exceed sales targets while delivering outstanding service.
- Begin with paid training to prepare for independent field work and ongoing growth.
- Learn product details and gain hands-on sales experience while strengthening communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to stay confident and tech-savvy.
- Serve: meet customers on their terms, maintain a customer-first approach, and ensure a high-quality interaction throughout the engagement.
- Solve: use technical expertise to address and resolve issues, offering clear, understandable solutions regardless of the customer's technical background; ensure a resolution that meets future needs.
- Sell: leverage the growing product range to tailor solutions, identify customer needs through active listening, and apply strong negotiation and communication skills to close the sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); customer appointments located in neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse; maximum travel distance up to 120 miles one-way.
- Varied five-day workweek including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
