Job Description

Asurion is hiring for a full-time, in-home sales and tech support role based in Fort Worth, TX (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers on the front lines using Asurion's Serve, Solve, Sell approach.
  • Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work.
  • Build product knowledge and gain hands-on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to grow confidence and stay tech-savvy.
  • Meet customers in homes, in offices, or wherever they are located.
  • Work with pre-scheduled customer interactions designed to help you meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the interaction, always prioritizing the customer.
  • Apply expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues and deliver clear, understandable solutions for all levels of tech knowledge.
  • Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that supports their future tech needs.
  • Leverage Asurion’s expanding product lineup to tailor solutions for customers.
  • Listen actively to identify needs and position products uniquely to meet those needs.
  • Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close appropriate sales.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with specific targets.
  • A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Proof of valid car insurance is required (Manhattan excluded).
  • A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); customer service appointments are in neighborhoods and cities near the inventory warehouse. Travel may reach up to 120 miles one-way.
  • Flexible five-day schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
  • Comfortable working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a willingness to learn a broad range of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and comfortable engaging with people.
  • Note: Hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.

Benefits

  • Base hourly pay guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly payroll and early access to earned pay.
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
  • Mileage reimbursement according to IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
  • Monthly stipend of $35 for mobile phone usage.
  • 3 to 4 weeks of paid training focused on your success.
