In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)
Job Description
Part-time in-home sales and tech support in Wichita, KS (onsite) requiring daily travel to customer residences, focused on the Serve, Solve, Sell approach with paid training and evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Begin with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
- Learn the products and gain hands-on sales experience while building skills in communication, negotiation, and problem solving.
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and maintain confidence and tech savviness.
- Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are.
- Asurion will pre-schedule customer interactions to help you meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, always prioritizing the customer first.
- Apply expertise to address and resolve tech issues, delivering an understandable solution regardless of the customer's technical background.
- Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion’s growing product range to offer tailored solutions to customers.
- Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products to meet those needs.
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and secure the right sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
- A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan).
- A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles).
- Customer service appointments located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse; maximum travel distance expected is 120 miles one-way.
- Work a varied five-day week schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
- Must be comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills that will carry through a variety of career paths.
- Naturally outgoing, thrives in human interaction.
- Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
Benefits
- Base hourly rate of $22 per hour guaranteed for all hours worked, paid bi-weekly; earned pay can be accessed early.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
- Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
- $35 monthly phone stipend.
- Three weeks of paid training focused on your success.
