In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part-Time)
Job Description
Part-time in-home sales and tech support in Memphis, TN (onsite) with an hourly wage of USD 23 per hour, paid training, mileage reimbursement, a $35 monthly phone stipend, and sales commissions.
Responsibilities
- Support customers on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell approach.
- Complete a paid training program to prepare for independent field work.
- Meet customers in-home, in-office, or at other locations; Asurion pre-schedules interactions to help you meet and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, always prioritizing the customer.
- Diagnose and resolve tech issues, explaining solutions clearly to customers of all technical levels.
- Ensure each interaction ends with a working resolution and a product that supports future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion’s expanding product lineup to tailor recommendations for each customer.
- Actively listen to identify needs and position products to meet those needs.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close the right sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable in a sales environment with defined targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance required (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle required (no motorcycles).
- Customer service appointments located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse.
- Travel up to 120 miles one-way.
- Five-day workweek with a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customers on their timeline.
- Personal cellphone required for on-the-job updates.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented with persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a willingness to learn a broad set of skills for diverse career paths.
- Naturally outgoing and energized by human interaction.
- Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
