Job Description

This part-time role in In-Home Sales and Tech Support is based onsite in Waukesha, WI, and requires daily travel to customer residences. You will employ the Serve, Solve, Sell™ framework, take part in paid training, and work an evenings and weekends schedule with base pay plus commissions and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell™ framework to support sales and technical needs.
  • Complete paid training to prepare for independent work in the field.
  • In the field, apply the Serve, Solve, Sell™ model consistently:
  • Serve: Meet customers in their homes, offices, or other locations. Pre-scheduled interactions help you aim to meet and exceed targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each interaction, always placing the customer first.
  • Solve: Apply your expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues, offering clear solutions for varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
  • Sell: Leverage Asurion’s product portfolio to present tailored solutions.
  • Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly.
  • Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and secure the appropriate sale.

Requirements

  • Comfort with a sales environment and meeting set targets.
  • A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan).
  • A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer appointments occur in neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse, with a maximum travel distance of 120 miles one-way.
  • Willingness to work a varied five-day schedule to align with customer availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A personal cellphone to stay connected during work hours.
  • Comfort working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and comfortable with frequent human interaction.

Benefits

  • Base hourly wage is guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay; earned pay can be accessed early.
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
