Job Description
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct customer meetings in homes, offices, or other locations as needed, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide consistently excellent customer service, keeping the customer's needs at the forefront of every interaction.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, explaining solutions in clear terms for customers with varying levels of tech knowledge.
- Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that supports their future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion's expanding product lineup to tailor solutions; actively listen to identify customer needs and align product recommendations accordingly.
- Apply negotiation and communication skills to pivot and close deals.
- Gain hands-on sales experience while learning Asurion products and building skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Participate in paid training to prepare for independent field work, supported by ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Receive ongoing guidance to support growth and maintain confidence and tech proficiency.
Requirements
- Comfortable operating in a sales-driven environment with target-based goals.
- A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle required (excluding motorcycles). Appointments are located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding the inventory warehouse, with a maximum one-way travel distance of 120 miles.
- Work a varied five-day week schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer timelines.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
- Comfort working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills applicable to diverse career paths.
- Naturally outgoing and comfortable engaging with people.
- Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
