In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part-Time)
Job Description
Part-time in-home sales and tech support in Saint Rose, LA, on-site, with paid training, evenings schedule, and a base pay of $22.05 per hour plus benefits and commissions.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach.
- Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work.
- Learn products and gain hands-on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and maintain confidence and tech‑savviness.
- Meet customers in-home, in-office, or other locations; pre‑schedule interactions to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the interaction, always putting the customer first.
- Leverage expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues, delivering clear solutions for customers with varying tech knowledge.
- Ensure customers leave with a resolution that works and a product addressing future tech needs.
- Utilize Asurion’s growing product lineup to offer tailored solutions.
- Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and achieve the right sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); travel up to 120 miles one-way.
- Varied 5-day workweek including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open to learning a broad range of skills for diverse career paths.
- Naturally outgoing with strong interpersonal skills.
- Hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
