Job Description

This on-site, part-time in-home field role in Little Rock, AR combines sales with technical support, requiring daily travel to customer residences. It follows the Serve, Solve, Sell approach, with paid training and potential commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support to customers using the Serve, Solve, Sell framework.
  • Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work.
  • Meet customers at their homes, at an office, or other pre-scheduled locations; interactions are arranged to help you reach and exceed sales targets.
  • Deliver courteous, customer-centered service throughout each engagement.
  • Apply your expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues and present clear, understandable solutions for all levels of technical knowledge.
  • Confirm that each customer leaves with a workable resolution and a plan addressing future tech needs.
  • Offer solutions from Asurion's expanding range of products tailored to the customer’s situation.
  • Listen actively to uncover needs and position products accordingly.
  • Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot effectively and close appropriate sales.

Requirements

  • Comfortable operating in a sales environment with defined targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (note: Manhattan is excluded).
  • A personal vehicle (no motorcycles); travel may extend up to 120 miles one-way from the inventory warehouse to customer locations.
  • Flexibility to work across a varied five-day week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customers on their schedule.
  • Personal cellphone for on-the-job connectivity.
  • Comfort working around household pets.
  • Strong, adaptable, goal-oriented communication skills and persuasiveness.
  • Willingness to learn a broad set of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
  • Outgoing demeanor and enjoyment of face-to-face interactions.
  • Note: Work hours can vary based on business needs and market demand.

Compensation

  • Base hourly rate of $22 for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay and early access to earned pay option.
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
  • Mileage reimbursement according to IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
  • $35 monthly phone stipend.
  • Three weeks of paid training to support ramp-up and success.
