Job Description

Part-time onsite role in East Hartford, CT offers a benefits-forward path for in-home sales and tech support. You’ll start with paid training, earn a base pay of $25 per hour plus commissions, receive mileage reimbursement, and enjoy a flexible schedule crafted to fit your life. This position centers on a Serve, Solve, Sell approach and supports growth with coaching, mentorship, and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

  • Be on the front lines helping customers through our Serve, Solve, Sell approach.
  • Begin with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
  • Learn product offerings and gain hands-on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills, with ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and confidence in tech.
  • In the field, apply the Serve, Solve, Sell model:
    • Serve: Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are; interactions are pre-scheduled to help you meet and exceed sales targets while delivering strong customer service.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire interaction, always prioritizing the customer.
    • Solve: Use your expertise to address and resolve tech issues, offering understandable solutions for any level of tech knowledge.
    • Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that supports their future tech needs.
    • Sell: Leverage the growing product lineup to offer tailored solutions, listen actively to identify needs, and position products to meet them; employ effective negotiation and communication to close appropriately.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan)
  • A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); travel up to 120 miles one-way to neighborhoods and cities near the inventory warehouse
  • Flexible, varied 5‑day week schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job
  • Comfortable around household pets
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented and persuasive communication skills
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills
  • Outgoing by nature and comfortable with frequent human interaction
  • Hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility required

Benefits

  • Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked and paid bi-weekly; earned pay can be accessed early
