A Day in the Life
Your day begins with reviewing critical incidents to establish prioritization. After triaging urgent issues, you join the daily team stand-up and tackle projects and tickets essential to production. You participate in a rotating on-call schedule, collaborate with production teams, mentor colleagues, and strive for stability and standardization. Operational excellence and customer focus are core values as you contribute to best-in-class services for critical operations.
Responsibilities
- Process tickets via approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to triage and resolve customer issues
- Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and maxOS workstations
- Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot bare-metal Windows and Linux servers
- Configure, deploy, and replace network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Participate in hiring, training, and development of others
- Provide technical support for Amazon Leo Production, lab and launch infrastructure, components, and associated software
- Provide remote support for Amazon Leo employees and infrastructure worldwide
- Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades
- Assist with project implementations and technology deployments
- Drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality) and set standards
- Participate in on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 2+ years of technical support experience
- 2+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
